Captured from Kala Patthar at sunset, this view looks out over Mount Everest and Mount Nuptse. Everest, bathed in the golden glow of the day’s final light, rises above the range in quiet grandeur. As soon as the sun dipped below the horizon, the temperature plummeted, and shortly after this shot, my camera shut down due to the cold. By then, it was around -15°C.
